You will have 2.5 hours to complete the exam.

On the scheduled testing day and time, you will need a valid photo ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or military ID to be admitted into the exam on the date of testing.

During the exam, you will be monitored by several members from our departments who are members of our Police Testing Alliance.

The following week after the exam has been completed, your results will be provided to all participating Alliance agencies to determine candidate eligibility.  The results will also be sent to you by mail approximately two weeks after your test date.

Candidates may be asked to participate in additional testing or review by police departments at some future date. This additional consideration may include further written tests, oral interviews and examinations, polygraphs, medical and psychological evaluations, fitness and agility testing, and/or intensive background investigations. The entire selection process is normally accomplished with a period of 90-120 days. All follow up testing and review depend on the hiring needs of the individual police departments.

All participating agencies of the Great Bay Community College Police Testing Alliance are Equal Opportunity Employers.
